John took some of Robb while I was away. These are just a few of them.

Notice how sweet he is for John? He's actually been pretty loving (for him) since I've returned. We've also resumed our stalk and pounce games.

Today, he caught a fly that somehow got into the house, probably thanks to taking out the trash. He chased that fly for at least 20 minutes, executing daring aerial maneuvers. He finally trapped it between his paws on the window sill. I tried to prevent him from eating it, but when he realized that I was going to take it away from him ... gulp. I don't know whether to praise him as a dedicated hunter or avoid him as a carrier of plague. I just hope he doesn't get worms or something now.

That cherry tree outside the window has lost all its blossoms, by the way, replaced by small fruit. The apricot tree is just loaded with tiny apricots, and the almond tree with fuzzy green almond shells. The apples still have some blossoms. We are also getting figs! It seems awfully early in the season for fruit to appear.
